We played a whole class version of Spin to Win using decimal numbers. It was the class versus Mrs Welsh. Mrs Welsh won.

Maths: In math we have been learning how to measure length with Ms Brody. We had to estimate length of objects e.g mug, shoe, and pencil.

Writing: Before the holidays we did a piece of fantasy writing about our fairy characters that we created so on Wednesday we practising how to up-level our writing by adding fronted adverbials, expanded noun phrases and subordinating conjunctions.

Grammar:  We played Adverb Charades with Mrs Welsh. We had to pick two cards; one was an adverb one was a verb and then we had to mime the adverb and verb for the class to guess. One example was “cheerfully singing.”

IDL: For IDL we learned about Scottish Witch Trials. We created a timeline of important events using notes read as a class and a clip we watched about it.

French: we learnt how to ask and answer questions about what age we are. We tested our understanding by playing a Kahoot about French numbers 1 to 30.
